The challenge: Create EIGHT international scripted spots in THREE days, in multiple locations, that can run in all languages. Also, do it in a budget-conscious way!

The solution: create a light and nimble way to rely on mostly natural light, visual story-telling, and a documentary sensibility to make films that are compelling, beautiful, and effective!

These spots are run globally in multiple languages, and created a template that Oral-B followed for the ensuing several years. In addition to the scripted spots, we also created an explainer to show how to use the toothbrush.


Oral-B Genius

Working with renowned Robotics Engineer and Programmer Heather Knight, we compared the Oral-B Genius Brush to the amazing Robots Heather works with. We took special care in working with a non-professional actor to get the best performance possible.


Crest - Real People

From interviewing real customers in a grocery store, to performing real-people casting in real-time from focus group participants, we have created multiple Crest National Broadcast spots using actual customers. In each instance, we take care to treat these participants in a way that brings out their natural personality, and tells an effective story!


Oral-B and Crest - Scripted Commercials

In order to make these spots feel as real as possible, P&G hired us to bring our documentary ethos to get the most realistic performances as possible out of these professional actors. We shot a combination of National Broadcast, and online spots.
